Publisher's Summary
Penguin presents the unabridged, downloadable audiobook edition of Arsenic for Tea by Robin Stevens, read by Gemma Chan.
Schoolgirl detectives Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong are at Daisy's home, Fallingford, for the holidays. Daisy's glamorous mother is throwing a tea party for Daisy's birthday, and the whole family is invited, from eccentric Aunt Saskia to dashing Uncle Felix. But it soon becomes clear that this party isn't really about Daisy at all.
Naturally, Daisy is furious. Then one of their party falls seriously, mysteriously ill - and everything points to poison. With wild storms preventing anyone from leaving or the police from arriving, Fallingford suddenly feels like a very dangerous place to be.
Not a single person present is what they seem - and everyone has a secret or two. And when someone very close to Daisy looks suspicious, the Detective Society must do everything they can to reveal the truth...no matter the consequences.

Arsenic for Tea
Perfect mystery from the 1940s and a great narrator too. The author paints the characters well, making you feel like you are there with them.

Amazing👌
I absolutely love this book and I have loved the series for ages. I think that Gemma Chan did a fantastic job, putting on voices for each character, and it really felt like she was the characters in my head. I loved it so much and can never get bored of these books❤️ I totally recommend it to anyone who is reading this and hasn’t listened to the audiobook. Loved it😙👌❤️

Gemma Chan does not disappoint
The mystery itself is very middle-grade, but when it's supposed to get tense you feel the tension. Gemma Chan's narration is as soothing as always, though if I have to pick a flaw I'd say in some instances her words slur together, but that's so minor it's more ridiculous to point it out
