The Magic of Thinking Big gives you useful methods, not empty promises. Dr. Schwartz presents a carefully designed program for getting the most out of your job, your marriage and family life, and your community. He proves that you don't need to be an intellectual or have innate talent to attain great success and satisfaction - but you do need to learn and understand the habit of thinking and behaving in ways that will get you there.

Great narration, flows well and has a TONNE of great tips and advice to make you a better and more successful person.
*WARNING* Only listen to if you want your life changing!
Some interesting insights in self believe and motivation. There are better books out there but this one really focuses on believing in yourself and how to design your life.

This audiobook is very inspiring, and contains tools to help moving forward to a meaningful life! I recommend this book.
"There is allot here"
This is a very concise book on thinking beyond your immediate circumstance and taking a different perspective. The author encourages you to get beyond reacting to others and setting your own course in life. I found the book very helpful but needed to listen to it twice as it gets right to the point.
The content of this book is written in a very simple format which is great for negaholics that are trying to make a real change in their lives. For those who follow Covey and Frankl, this book confirms many if not all of their teachings
I loved the audio version so much, I immediately went out and bought the unabridged book. You can have a life changing experience if you truly take what Dr. Schwartz says to heart (listen and apply).
Topics covered are:
~How to develop the power of belief
~Steps to build confidence and destroy fear
~How to think and dream creatively
~Ways to harness and develop your ideas
~Managing your environment
~Improving relationships with people
~Turning defeat into victory
~Using goals to help you grow
~How to think like a Leader
...and much, much more.
If I could only recommend one book to you, this would be it. What do you have to lose? Is the risk of wasting $8.95 more important than possibly finding success and happiness for the rest of your life?
"This a great book"
I loved this book and every so often go back and listen to it again as there is so much inspiration in it. Yeah, I know some people say it's just a load of self-improvement mantras rehashed into a new pot, but I love the way it's presented, the change in voices, the changes in tempo and you can't help smiling once you've been listening to it. My only minor niggle is the 'plastic' music used to divide the sections - but I'll forgive this for the feel-good factor.
"A kick in the rear"
I listen to a lot of self help books (believe me I need it) and I found this one to be one of the best. The multiple narrators and scenes gave the book a liveliness I haven't encountered before. The tips were practical and easily applicable to daily life. The sheer positive ness of this book makes you want to jump start your life. It’s a good one!
"Should have known better..."
I keep forgetting to check for the "abridged" mention. I have yet to like an abridged audio book I liked. This one was no exception. It is a far cry from the unabridged written book I bought some 25 years ago.
"A Big Winner"
I listen to a lot of motivational audio books and read some as well. Often times they are hit or miss. This book was just GREAT! I loved it and learned a lot from it. It gives great examples that you can actually relate to.
This book is very motivational and has good ideas. I don't know that the techniques were cutting edge, but are still very practical and enduring. I actually listened to the book twice.
Read the book over 10 years ago (and many times since), then got the audio. Simple & Easy to follow. This book is a classic. I only wish it were unabrigded.
"New to Personal Development - Must Read"
I have been a student of Personal Development for over a dozen years, this is a great "starter" book.
It was more of a reminder.
"This is old school, things have moved on!"
Had this book provided some grounding and research as to why the author was suggesting to do the things he did then it would have been parallel with many more contemporary offerings. More substance would have improved this read immeasurably.
A talk at you approach of old school American, motivational "positive mental attitude." When there are such great books around about the psychology of how our mind works and how to control, ("The Chimp Paradox" by Steve Peters for example) this left me cold as it just felt like a bunch of buzz words and nothing more
The narrator was okay, fairly easy to listen to but given the type of book it was the content which was at fault more than the narrator.
It just feels as though this book is now out of date. Research and evidence is what is required. Its a big title but little more. A real shame!
"Great book! think big, be happy & plan ahead."
listening go this inspiring book while I walked in the park, get ready for work or clean the house. life isn't the same without goals and vision!
"Buy it and implement"
A great program with real actionable strategies that can make a real difference to your life.
A good balance of story and actors to keep you engaged and entertained.
One of my favourite repeat monthly to keep you on track.
"Think BIG! And think BIGGER!"
Simple way to approach life to create value using the power of thinking, goal setting and action!
Add the power of 10x to it.
Thank you David!
Id recommend this book to anyone with goals and dreams.. Easy to listen to too
Yes, very nicely written
Fantastic content, excellent narration. If you feel bad about your own life, just start to listen.
Apart from the corny chimes in between each chapter, the content and messaging was clear, really value adding and easy to follow. Strong recommendation for self motivation...
"The Magic book"
I Read this book may years ago I enjoyed but never gave the really attention it need it nor understood its message, that is until now. I'm now 60 and I really understood what Dr. Schwartz is saying and how incredible true it is. I advice who ever reads this book to take it at heart and to believed it, because what Dr. Schwartz says is very true. I read it every morning before I do anything else to inspire me, because it will help me achieve what I set to achieve even at this late stage. it is really a magic book. thank you Dr. Schwartz.
"motivation in life"
I enjoy it👍👍. give you motivation for your life. I recommend it for everyone 😊😊
Great book! The first 1/3 is my favorite. It is a bit older and some of the voice actors sound silly but all and all a up lifting and positive book
