The groundbreaking book that gives every woman the practical skills she needs to begin Playing Big.
Five years ago, Tara Mohr began to see a pattern in her work as an expert in leadership: women with tremendous talent, ideas, and aspiration were not recognising their own brilliance. They felt that they were ‘playing small’ in their lives and careers and wanted to ‘play bigger’, but didn’t know how. And so Tara devised a step-by-step programme for playing big from the inside out: this book is the result.
Many women are aware of the changes they need to make to be more successful, but they don't know how to become that more confident woman they'd like to be. Playing Big provides real, practical tools to help women trust their instincts; identify and pursue their callings; become their own mentor; and take bold action to make their ideas a reality.
Not everyone wants to be a CEO, but every woman - whether a graduate, manager, volunteer, creative, stay-at-home mum, or an entrepreneur - aspires to something: more influence at work or fulfilment at home; more opportunities to share their voice; more certainty in their vision. Tara has already helped thousands of women across the world to play bigger according to what ‘playing big’ truly means to them. And when women play big, we make things happen.

I loved listening to Tara and she put everything into such simple and understandable terms. Everything seems achievable.
Tara read the book with love.
Great book, easy to listen to and very worth your while. I was motivated to get my business off the ground and Tara gives awesome tips on playing big in every aspect.
This book is full of thought provoking concepts with practical advice on how to implement improvements.
Tara reads the book beautifully and is lovely to listen to.
Great advice for women for increasing success and operating in the world with more confidence and impact.
This book can be listened to over and over - covers so much material in a really effective way. Be ready for some self examination, inspiration and enlightenment :))
If you're a woman, this book is for you. Even if you're a woman who thinks she's brave, thinks she's got it all sorted out - this is still for you. Tara Mohr is so very skilled in her writing, and so very helpful in the practical guidance she offers.
It took a little bit to get into this book and I went back to it on a few occasions but once I got into it I couldn't put it down. I've just finished it and am going back to the start to listen again. I imagine I'll go back to it a few times. It's a classic with so much to learn.
"Where you been all my life"
Finally, finally someone who talks my language, understands my way of thinking and is able to translate it into (spoken) words in such a way that during my car journey of 8 hrs I learnt so much that I can't wait to go to my next level of playing big. You're very special to me Tara Mohr, I'm ever so grateful having come across you.
overall great audio book. got a little tedious when discussing good and bad gu gu but morphed into some great advice and things that you can start doing immediately to lift your game. recommended.
"A real eye opener"
Highly recommended this book, it's a real eye opener and makes you think and reconsider things for the better!!
"Powerful message for all women"
Read with passion and eloquence by the author - loved it! Highly recommended for all women but changemakers will especially benefit 😃
"Uncommon, common sense for guys too!"
I bought this as favourably reviewed and to help my wife and daughter be all they can be - the upshot is that I've so far got more back in practical sense personally than my family.
Well done Tara - huge respect for your words and messages!
"This book is a must read!!"
This book is a must read for women who know they are here to make a difference in the world but need to get out of their own way first. I wish this was taught in schools.
"Inspiring and accessible"
Tara must have been resident in my head and heart to be so bang on with her insights into my playing small for too many years. This is a critical of-the- moment book I would highly recommend. I've ordered the hard copy though because there are so many principles & questions I want to revisit. Fab!
"amok with lightbulb moments"
It's filled with so many common sense things that you probably know, or could understand, but didn't necessarily realise about yourself. I'd be listening and then "ping", the lightbulb went off again...
I think I'll truly benefit from listening to the book once more and spending more time working through the exercises, rather than just capturing a mental list. However, I felt invigorated after listening to this fresh book.
Listening to Tara was easy, like sat in a comfy chair listening to a wise friend. I'm looking forward to listening again.
