"Solid ideas and unconventional thinking"
Good book. A solid frame work is given to provide an unconventional approach to networking and business development. I am excited to apply some of these strategies in my next networking endeavors.
"Simple, Smart, Usable advice"
Derek has done a great job writing a book that gives just the right amount of advice to build a strong and profitable network of relationships.
"solid strategic way to network"
great book. the strategy is good but warning, it takes work. guess what, all networking takes work. this strategy just has a focus and end outcome. create your own robust connector network. now that is powerful.
"Decent nuggets but his voice..."
The author has excellent nuggets in this book; however, I really wished he would have used an narrator other than himself. His voice is not good for the narration of books. Professional narrators exist for a reason.
"Practical and informative"
Practical and informative book. The author uses practical tips to connect with people without going to big networking events. Easy to listen to.
"Shares personal experiences that were effective"
I'll need to listen again but my first impression is that you Mr Coburn helps others which ultimately helps him. Well done.
"Well worth the read & implementation."
I'm bought hard copy too. I'll read it again, share with key associates & edit down activity in some groups!!
