Would you try another book from John C. Bogle and/or Mel Foster?

Some interesting stuff but everything could have been conveyed in about 20 minutes. Don't waste your money on this.

    "Endlessly Repetitive"
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

This book is a collection of articles and speeches by John Bogle, and they appear to be chosen for their likeness, as they are endlessly repetitive. I heard the entire background story on the Vanguard fund at least 5 times in the first twelve hours. This book should be radically shortened; had to call it quits after 12 hours, I just couldn't take it anymore. This is not so much poor writing but rather poor editing and poor article selection. Had the author chosen articles on disparate topics, this would have made a good book.

What do you think your next listen will be?

John Bogle is a luminary, and I want to read another of his books. I suspect the ones that were actually meant to be full books, as opposed to a collection or articles, will be good, but I need to forget about this experience first. So for now, my next read will be something not by John Bogle.

What about Mel Foster’s performance did you like?

Gave saving the endless repetition of the book a decent shot, didn't manage it though.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The points the author tries to make are valid.
