Publisher's Summary

Getting rich is not a matter of environment, for, if it were, all the people in certain neighborhoods would become wealthy; the people of one city would all be rich, while those of other towns would all be poor; or the inhabitants of one state would roll in wealth, while those of an adjoining state would be in poverty. But everywhere we see rich and poor living side by side, in the same environment, and often engaged in the same vocations.

When two men are in the same locality, and in the same business, and one gets rich while the other remains poor, it shows that getting rich is not, primarily, a matter of environment. Some environments may be more favorable than others, but when two men in the same business are in the same neighborhood, and one gets rich while the other fails, it indicates that getting rich is the result of doing things in a certain way.

Getting rich is not the result of saving, or "thrift"; many very penurious people are poor, while free spenders often get rich. Nor is getting rich due to doing things which others fail to do; for two men in the same business often do almost exactly the same things, and one gets rich while the other remains poor or becomes bankrupt.

    "Bad examples!"
What would have made Building Extreme Wealth better?

Stay positive with example of normal people gaining success by following your guidance.

What do you think your next listen will be?

    Wayne Dyer!

How could the performance have been better?

Do not use stupid associations to motivate people.

What character would you cut from Building Extreme Wealth?

We are listening to this person telling us to believe and to let our unconscious mind take this information and get rich. The best example for success that he could find, was the story of a person that was disfigure and burnt in a motorcycle accident. After that, that person was successful. The same person wanted more success so he tried to take off with ice on his plane. Accident caused by him or his unconscious mind! He was crippled from his neck down. Then, he was able to move forward to politic. Wow, This is definitely a positive association for success if I have a motorcycle and a plane.

    Any additional comments?

Most of the book is good and I can see that he is trying to be a Wayne Dyer with a British accent! But he definitely lacks good judgement for this to work.

    "Change your thinking"

I enjoyed this book. At the end of thr day one controls their situation and can change it. I agree with this, but I also know that for some it is much harder than for others. Even still we can sit nd mope or get up and takr action; this is the choicr we havr as humans.

I found this book to be refreshingly honest and candid. Eliminating the excuses and lies we tell ourselves daily. And, providing a plan of action on how to help move forward toward our goal.
