Watch My Back is the story of one man's search for courage. Depressed, bullied, intimidated by life and indoctrinated to believe that this was his lot, Geoff Thompson, on the verge of a breakdown, decided to fight back. This is the story of an ordinary man who faced his fears and took himself from bedsit to best seller but very nearly got killed on the way. Geoff Thompson is now the author of over 30 books, a stage play and a BAFTA-winning short film. This book is now a major motion picture: Clubbed.

Superb book!
I first read this book maybe 20 years ago when I worked at Tiger Tiger in London's Piccadilly Circus... it was great then... listening to it on audio was an additional treat, with the narrator using different voices and accents. Brilliant. First class.

gritty transformation story
Earthy, raw and real. A true story of Geoff fighting his way back to himself. First handwritten draft took six months of penning in spare time. A testimony to Geoff's faith and courage. I loved listening to the well read tale. Thanks.

My favorite book of all time!
Absolutely love this book, I've read it 3 times. I've also listed to the audiobook version 3 times. amazing story, great insight into what happens to us when we feel fear and how experts deal with it. It's read really well on the audiobook too! The actor suits it to a T. do yourself a favor and give it a listen.
