Sit back or saddle up as double Olympic gold medallist and multiple world champion Geraint Thomas gives you a warts-and-all insight into the life of a pro cyclist.
Along the way he reveals cycling's clandestine codes and secret stories; tales from the peloton; the key characters, like Wiggins, Hoy and Cav; the pivotal races; and essential etiquette.
Geraint Thomas is treasured for treating his sport just as the rest of us see it: not as a job but as an escape and an adventure. He's been with Team Sky since its inception and is one of our most successful and gifted track and road riders, but Geraint reminds us that getting on the bike still puts a smile on your face and fire in the legs like nothing else.
Funny, informative, diverting and droll, this is a joyful celebration of the world of cycling.

"Fun, interesting and irreverent look at cycling."
Yes, it's not your typical cycling autobiography. for a start it's not really an autobiography. It does what it says on the cover - it gives Geraint's view on a load of cycling topics through some fun stories.
I like riding bikes!
"Geraint gives you a great read"
Even if you have no idea about the cycling world just reading about the life of a Welsh Olympic champion is very interesting.
Recommend this for anyone who likes cycling
"An interesting insight into G's world"
Humorous at times, insightful look at performing at the highest level in professional cycling.
The only slight criticism was that it seemed to end abruptly. I'd have quite happily listened for another hour or two.
"inspiring and humorous"
Yes. Great detail into the world of cycling told with a laugh at every turn.
Descriptions of clothes, feeds, and teammates.
Description of cycling in the Welsh valleys.
Could have listened in one go had i the time.
"A humorous insight into the world of pro cycling"
Geraint gives a different insight into the cycling world than many of the other books written on this subject. There is some of the "geeky" facts that some may enjoy but it is ability to communicate the human aspects of what he does that make this book interesting. If you have seen him being interviewed you can tell he is less media polished than many other cyclists however it is this retention of personality that makes this book listen-able. You dont need to be mad about cycling to enjoy this book, I am neither male or a road cyclist, but do have a passing interest in the sport however Geraint explains the sport in a way that it would be accessible to all.
Having the author read the book always adds an extra dimension to the delivery however Tom Blumberg undertook that task well and adds to the enjoyment.
Funny stories and anecdotes about cycling. Really good listen if you are relatively upto speed with British Cycling and Team Sky.
Yes. Well written and a good listen
Narrator was good. Really felt like it might be Thomas himself telling the story.
"Nice insight into the life of a professional cyclist"
Not so much an autobiography as a series of snapshots into what Geraint Thomas's life is like as a cyclist. It's light-hearted and occasionally laugh-out-loud, at least for cycling fans
"Superb insight into cycling"
great to have a peek into the world of cycling but I'm still not sure how to pronounce his name... Thanks G
"not just an autobiography"
a brilliant view into a pro cyclist done in a brilliantly different way, great read
"Life of G,"
Very enjoyable insight into the world of the Pro cyclist, and some good background info into the world they live in.
