For many years, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer’s fans have wondered when he would write a memoir. Well, Wayne has finally done just that! However, he has written it in a way that only he can - with a remarkable take-home message for his longtime followers and new readers alike - and the result is an exciting new twist on the old format. Rather than a plain old memoir, Wayne has gathered together quantum-moment recollections.
In this revealing and engaging audiobook, Wayne shares dozens of events from his life, from the time he was a little boy in Detroit up to present day. In unflinching detail, he relates his vivid impressions of encountering many forks in the road, taking readers with him into these formative experiences. Yet then he views the events from his current perspective, noting what lessons he ultimately learned, as well as how he has made the resulting wisdom available to millions via his lifelong dedication to service.
I Can See Clearly Now is an intimate look at an amazing teacher, but it also holds the key for seekers on a personal path of enlightenment. Wayne offers up his own life as an example of how we can all recognize the hand of the Divine steering our individual courses, helping us accomplish the mission we came here to fulfill.

I have read/listened to Wayne Dyer's books for years, and have mostly been impressed by his insight and wisdom. However, his memoirs are so full of ego (the very thing he has always stressed the importance of to let go), it defies belief. After a generous 40 minutes my partner and I were simply unable to keep listening. It was clear from the start that unless you have been gifted with grace from birth - like he was - you don't stand a chance to reach any lofty heights, except if you have been blessed enough to have been in his presence. A little humility would have gone a long way to make his audience "see more clearly".
Not really. There are many interesting authors with valuable lessons to pass on.
Not the narrator - the message!
I, me, mine, lucky lucky (or deserving!) MEEEEEE
I liked how I seen his point of view and that it's become my experience which now I have the skills to live out the life I want and reach high consciousness.
The book is inspiring and that's why I have continued to not smoke a cigarette for the last day because I just have the inspirations of Wayne telling me a story about the present moment.
I have a greater understanding of guiding influences. I just enjoyed having a more personal big picture of a life so full of action and meaning. I always enjoy his lighthearted intelligent, witty personality and will miss him.
I listened to this in full over a week whilst i was doing a mind numbing job at work that required no true concentration. I feel like just hearing how he grew and came to things in life has helped me to grow. I am enlightened and invigorated and have grown to love Wayne as if I truly know him such is the way he tells of his own life journey.
I found my personal experience a little surreal as having spent a Wednesday to Friday listening to Wayne narrate this telling of his life, i learnt the following Monday that he had passed away on the Saturday. It made listening to the end of his narration all the more poignant. I truly believe he is now an Ascended Master and will be continuing his work helping people from the other side. We are blessed.
"A format anyone can use"
As I began to change my life years ago I couldn’t see where it would lead. One place it led me was to this book recently and I picked it up. Here Dr. Wayne Dyer looks back on his life as it stands now and where he’s going. It’s amazing when we look back on our lives and see where the twists and turns have taken us. Like Dr. Dyer I won’t look back and go ‘What if’ as I listen now and my life is completely different now that I have. Take the lessons from this book and apply them in your life. You’ll be amazed what happens in your life.
"Not seeing so clear"
This was the first book by WD that I've "read", and while I enjoyed the first section of the book, it got to be a bit much during the second part. Maybe I don't see because I don't believe? While he stressed letting go of the ego, he seems to have a pretty good one going on himself. Listening to this made me want to check out "Your Erroneous Zones," because overall, I feel like his methods are good. But as he stated, in his earlier writings he avoided writing about spirituality, and that may suit me better. I did enjoy the many quotes by the great masters, and he does have good advice, especially for a lost soul.
This doesn't apply.
Since its an autobiography, this doesn't really apply.
"Deepest of Spiritual Secrets revealed with such simplicity"
My learning deepens listening to Dr. Dyer's thoughts. He truly is blessed. He narrates in simplicity, some of the most mystical secrets of absolute reality available for us to explore through faith and practice.
Will listen to this book over and over. I have almost all of Dr Wayne Dyer's books and tapes. He got me thru some trying times and some great times.
Helps you to help yourself!
I love his passion for his life.
Yes, and might get it done yet!
Good book audible and print or print, whatever!
"Helpful--Read if you're just studying yourself!"
I didn't read the print edition. I have a 2 year old and a teenager and full-time work etc. It's difficult to take the time to read print editions--although I would consider buying it.
Yes, it's on par. I loved the fact that it wasn't abridged! He has a fantastically soothing voice so I enjoy him doing his own audiobooks unlike some well known authors/teachers that don't narrate their own books.
No, it's too long, but I listened to it for prolonged periods at a time.
I really enjoyed his writing style. At first I was thrown off with how he'd talk about his childhood and then about him in his 20s, and then back to a teen. But it really reinforced my understanding and the relevancy of his experiences. He really did weave a tapestry of his life. I highly recommend this audiobook!
"Best Wayne Dyer Book Yet!"
I have not read the print version, but plan on buying it soon.
I don't have a book to compare it to. Its one of the best books I have listened to. Dr Dyer was able to include parts of all his great books, how they came to be and what inspired him to write each one of them.
All of them, but if I had to choose it would be his military stint in the Navy and his stories of racism against his friend and the passion he felt after visiting Germany and the horrors of the Nazis.
To see clear is to see God
I hope I get to meet Wayne Dyer someday. He is my Guru!
"Okay but the performance made up for it"
I expected more from this title and, while nothing turned me off, I just never got as much as I had hoped to get. The narration was very good.
"The best book I've ever read!"
Such an incredible book, by an even more incredible man. It's literally the best book I've ever read, and I've listened to the audio about 10 times now, and I learn something new each time. If you love Wayne Dyer books, then this one is a MUST.
"Amazing spiritually guiding book"
Loved being taken on Weird Wayne's life adventure and learning a lot about myself spiritually along the way!
"Very Interesting & good to hear his old style returning"
A fitting book to illustrate Dr Dyers professional life & professional, personal, spiritual development. Timely that he wrote it when he did with his untimely death just unknowingly around the corner. In the book one can clearly see the development of Dr Dyer's thinking, learnings, experiences ( knowings); from a young boy, to early man hood & beyond. The 1st 2/3rds of the book to me illustrate him as very grounded on the Earth plane until his 50's. As he became more & more intensely "spiritual" I found his books more ethereal. I wonder idly if his wife chose to leave because in some ways her husband of 20 years became less & less grounded. & Earthly present; more & more living on a different level to the rest of us? Dr Dyer's earlier books changed profoundly (& for the better) how I live my life. This book was a good insight into why & how the principles he espoused were built & developed. RIP Dr Dyer & Thank you.
"So good I listened twice"
This was my first intro to Dr Dyer. I'm hooked. Ive already started practicing new thinking and can't wait to read more of his books.
"Sad When It Ended"
Sadly I have listened to Dr Dyer's life story after his passing...this book would have inspired me to want to listen to him in person..his story of synchronicity and hard work and unwavering connection to his own inner voice shows why he became the inspiration he did...He makes it crystal clear that everything is for a reason and that understanding and accepting that which is will bring you the greatest peace and help you find your lifes purpose...he relays his journey to becoming one of my spiritual mentors one step at a time and you get to know the man, his journey and in return the possibility of your own ability to see clearly now..I was sad when the time came for this audio book to end as I loved and learnt something from every chapter
"I can see clearly now"
I can see clearly now, that I was meant to listen to Wayne speak his truth. Thank you for the many blessings provided in this audiobook, JCx
"l am moved beyond measure."
This is the first Wayne Dyer book l have listened to. I am so glad that l choose this to be my first.Dr Dyer's life story is a backdrop to a spiritual awakening.. I am mo ed beyond measure.
"Life changing story of love"
Wayne Dyer is extraordinary throughout his account of his life with openness, honesty and inspiration. Just could not leave it alone and listened to it all over 2 days. Going to go back over it all again as I miss his calming voice in my ear.
loved it from start to finish. I'm a big fan of Wayne & have learned a lot from him
I have been always close to God but from culture and community prospects, find the real connection with God was lately the highlight of my shift , God once said " I am closer to you than your vines " " if my worshippers ask you about me , tell them I am close answer all who ask me"
Many of the stories in this book , I could link it to one of mine🙏🏻 always remember that ' all things are possible with God '
"I can hear clearly now"
Good book with some truly inspiring stories and messages. However the experience for me was spoiled by the constant references to "I can see clearly" every 10 minutes or so it seemed, after a while it became grating. Such a shame it spoilt the whole book for me.
"A good journey"
Wayne's philosophy and the concept of reflecting and being able to see things with clarity.
There were many moments, he is a quite warrior that has had to be brave and follow his instincts and heart many times.
