Starting out with an investment of five dollars, he amasses a fortune by his early twenties and establishes himself as a major player on the Street. Bullish in bear markets, and bearish among bulls, he claims that only suckers gamble on the market. The trick, he advises, is to protect yourself by balancing your investments, and selling big on the way down. Livermore goes broke three times, but he comes back each time feeling richer for the learning experience.

Great insight
It was good to hear the insights into the reading of Jesse Livermore. I was waiting for the ending to see how it went as we know his ending

Truly delicious. Apples of gold framed in silver
There is no doubt in my mind, if you are a trader. This book is worth every penny. The more you listen too it, the more one finds his own way. its easy to be influenced by others. But only a true speculator listens to his own proven voice of reason and insight.

this book was a story of how jesse Livermore made and lost millions on the stock market. not a bad book, I think there are much better ones out there if your wanting to learn about the financial markets but it terms of a story its pretty good

Fantastic book, but the Audible version is broken
The book starts half way through and then goes back to the beginning, and the chapters are broken with no titles or any way to know where the beginning is.
I enjoyed it but I was disappointed it wasn't fully functional. It should be even cheaper in my opinion, considering that fact, but it's a brilliant story and the performance was solid.

Chapters out of order!
The book appears to start someway through and then at chapter 68 the start of the story begins ( with the Wiley books introduction and everything ). Quite a head spin. can't recommend the file, can recommend the story though, so hopefully it gets fixed
