Could listen to Bob Brier for hours
Bob has a unique way of bringing historical content to life. Always very engaging and easy to understand with lots of context.

Loved this series re the Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt
I wish I had Bob as my history teacher! Such an engaging speaker, knowledgeable with the great insight to pull details that engage the reader.
I especially enjoyed how Egypt was unified, as well as Cleopatra & how Egypt went from a great civilisation to a Roman province.
Taking out the dates made it much easier to concentrate on a ruler, time period and their accomplishments.

excellent introduction to ancient Egypt
good course. I would recommend doing this one before the longer Egyptian history course by the same lecturer so as to get an overview before diving in.

Fantastic book
I love listening to Bob Briers books, the way he explains Egyptian History is superb, I will be upset when I have finished all of his books
