Here is a preview of what Elon Musk: Biography of a Self-Made Visionary, Entrepreneur, and Billionaire contains:

Had some decent content but all in all seemed like the author has googled 'Elon musk' and converted the results into a book... It's a basic look into his life. Narrator is borderline annoying too which definitely doesn't help.
78 year old, New Zealander, planning to live to at least 100 and still remember my name.
Short ~ with all the hours of interviews of Musk on YouTube the author could have written a much more comprehensive book.
"DO NOT BUY THIS - IT IS A HIGH SCHOOL TERM PAPER!"
Maybe in about 10 years when they finish school!
Elon Musk is interesting - this book is not
I just wasted my money!
Isn't there any quality control at Audible.com?
"Reads like a fan boy novel"
I feel no real research was done to make this book. Most everything stated can be learned from Mr. Musk's Wikipedia page. The only thing I learned from this book was a bit more about the history of the hyper loop. Jason Lovett's reading was nearly unbearable, his constant up and down tone as he reads made it hard to concentrate on the already dreadful story. I was hoping to learn more about the drama Musk has gone through. I wanted to learn more about the Pay Pal story, More on his fight with the US car manufacturers on Tesla's distribution rights. His battle to get the NASA contract for SpaceX to deliver goods to the ISS. None of these issues were brought up.
The most interesting part of this story was the very brief history of the hyper loop, which is sad because this book is about Musk. There are no personal interviews with him at all. The least interesting part is the constant Musk self circle jerk the author is doing. Ending a lot of the short chapters with a "Musk is a walking deity" statement.
Anyone who doesn't speak with such an inflection would have been a better choice.
I'm sure Mr. Musk's life will become a movie at some point. However I would not go see it, not unless he does something more interesting.
"Short and sweet! Well..."
I'm a audible subscriber for many many years now. The story is just as it is "short and sweet" It could've been a bit more detail but again pretty good.
My only real negative is on the narrator, not sure what's about his tone of voice that gets me? Could be his style or tone. Not sure. Maybe is that I like other styles!!
This feels like the cliff notes version of Elon's biography I would suggest getting the full biography to get any sense of Elon Musk
"Holy Vocal Fry Batman!"
Amateur writing made even worse by amateur reading. I felt as though the majority of sentences were punctuated with vocal fry. Perhaps some listeners would not be bothered by that, but I found Lovett's reading was so distracting I could barely listen to the story. When words did punctuate through the performance it was because I've heard better story telling vocabulary from my 6 year old niece.
"Horrible. The reader is so bad it makes it painful to listen"
Do not buy this book. So unprofessional. It was too difficult to listen to I could not finish the book. There are other books on Elon that are far better.
This is a great summary of his life. I will get the most recent book now.
"A great booj"
The book was great sadly it was quite short though. Despite that face I HIGHLY recommend this book do anyone wanting to know about Elon Musk or the future
"sounded like the author was reading Wikipedia"
Thankfully it was very short. nothing there that isn't on Elon Musk's Wikipedia profile. Best wait for a proper biography.
