90% Name dropping. 10% interesting content.

This is one of the most ultra detailed and painfully over researched books I have ever listened to. The actual story is interwoven inside a never ending parade of names, names, names, names and more names. The book is 90% names. Detailed accounts of interactions between silicone valley characters (including what they ordered for lunch in a cafe) are commonplace in the text. Did I mention names. So many names. While I appreciate the original text may have been more relevant at the time, there is definitely room to condense and “re-master” this title as a great (shorter) history lesson for the modern age. So many names.
