Publisher's Summary

In his first novel, Look Who It Is!, Alan told his story ('oh and what a life') with his unique twist of natural, observational and tongue-in-cheek humour that made him famous.

Alan Carr described his life story in his own words, from growing up in a football-mad family in Northampton to his rise as one of Britain's best-loved comedians. And now he is ready to divulge the next chapter in bursts of hilarious Technicolor.

This Is A Specstacular Read

I laughed so hard I nearly couldn’t stop. Don’t listen in your car people at the traffic lights think you’re crying…🤣🤣🤣. Alan’s telling of his stories are so human and his recollections are so on the mark - his quips are hilarious. His truthful insights into his life and career are absorbing. I await anxiously for his next coming..

Alanatomy is a well written, entertaining read.

This was a book I enjoyed, l listened to the entire book in a day, whilst cleaning out the garage (not a euphemism).
Alan narrates the story himself, giving the listener a refreshing insight into the life of a normal person, who doesnt seem to have been affected by showbusiness, and doesnt seem to have the huge ego often associated with high profile individuals in the entertainment industry. Alans narration gives the book authenticty and depth. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

What a Character

I have always been a fan of Alan. He really knows how to tell a story and make it sound like your sitting with him face-to-face at a pub.

A truly funny honest update

An honest insight into the insecurities, ridiculousness and truly hilarious nature of fame and celebrity. Alan writes like he's your friend and presents the lows and the highs of his recent career with a matured take on the business of show/comedy. Roll on number 3 !
