Brilliant reading by David Timson

David Timson’s reading of The Faerie Queene is outstanding. His prosody is impeccable, every word is clear, his vocal characterisation is insightful and his sense of affect is profound. The poem itself is bonkers and perverse- I’ve enjoyed it enormously- but I couldn’t have seen it through without this truly engaging reading.
