"Good but I don't understand why I can't jump"
I don't understand why I can't jump to any chapter I want to. it doesn't make any sense at all
"Fantastic radio adaptation"
I'm normally a bit wary of radio adaptations as they can be very clunky, but this one brings great drama and atmosphere to the story. An excellent cast, augmented by evocative sound effects and music, and a script which captures the heart of this huge novel in just under three hours. Highly recommended.
This is a well acted, and very entertaining adaptation of the book. I enjoyed it a lot.
"Nothing less than 5 stars. Call me, Ishmael..!"
The greatest story ever told, told by the greatest storytellers in the business. BBC drama bring to life the classic tale of madman meeting whale in this epic addition to their drama collection. I would recommend this book to young and old, it's exciting and BBC drama studios did it justice, with whale sounds and eery music injected throughout the listen to add to the atmosphere.
"An enjoyable adaption of a great story."
This magnificent story is very well told here, well cast and nicely acted. It manages to economically capture the atmosphere of the original book whilst moving the plot along briskly. The sound quality could be better but overall this is a very entertaining listen, and I have no hesitation in recommending it.
