Story
On his last combat deployment, Lt. Cmdr. James Reece's entire team was killed in an ambush that also claimed the lives of the aircrew sent in to rescue them. But when those dearest to him are murdered on the day of his homecoming, Reece discovers that this was not an act of war by a foreign enemy but a conspiracy that runs to the highest levels of government. Now, with no family and free from the military's command structure, Reece applies the lessons that he's learned in over a decade of constant warfare toward revenge.

Lacks some authentic detail
If you are going to write about something reasonably technical like flying a plane for example then You need to get some correct info first
Turbine aircraft do not for example use avgas and there is quite a lot of aviation comment and procedures that’s not quite right
I know it’s a fictional novel but no airforce would
Ever shoot down a light aircraft that had declared a fuel emergency unless it was over the White House maybe .
An interesting yarn and obviously more of the same is coming in the next book
