    "Can't wait!"

I listened to this, as an avid Dan Brown reader, with some excitement, although nervous of what the narrative might be like. I need not have worried as the Narrator is wonderful and I have pre-ordered the whole book and can't wait! The story is typical Dan Brown, and I just love the nuances of his work, encompassing art, political, religious and social history and a damn good thriller thrown in with a healthy spattering of modern scientific facts stirred into the mix just for good measure. Ahh bliss.

"Made me want to read the whole book"
What was one of the most memorable moments of FREE EXTRACT: Inferno?

    The powerfully-read epilogue.

What about Paul Michael’s performance did you like?

He has a deep rich voice that is easy to listen to. He has an instinct for pace that keeps the listener drawn in.

    Any additional comments?

Although I didn't upload the entire audiobook (I'm not a member of Audible), it made me get the book. Inferno is thoroughly entertaining and I read it in a few days. It makes you want to find out about Inferno and the artworks that were inspired by it. The plot has some twists I didn't see coming.

    "Same old thing"
If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

    Someone who enjoys mindless thrillers.

Would you ever listen to anything by Dan Brown again?

Absolutely not. I really don't understand all the hype. Dan Brown's writing feels formulaic and predictable. I'm certain that many people love his work but I'm afraid I am definitely not among their number.

Would you be willing to try another one of Paul Michael’s performances?

I would be willing to give it a go because it seems unfair to judge the reader by what he is reading.

    "Goodness me, this is bad."

This resembles the work of a talented twelve year old. I felt embarrassment for the author. Brown writes for people who don't usually read books. The achievement of the 'DaVinci Code' was that it promoted literacy amongst people who would not otherwise have owned a book and the following film was popular because those who had read it, attended as a kind of graduation ceremony. Inferno doesn't really move on from there.
