Wyoming Rugged
As always a great read with great characters. i just adore Diana Palmers books/audible . Never tire of them and re read/listen to them them often. Great narator, although the same woman's voice for multi female characters can be a bit disconcerting . Overal 5 Star

My eye muscles got a work out with all the eye rolling
Diana Palmer stories for me are like KFC. I don’t have it for ages, then when I do, I remember why.
My eye muscles get a work out with all the eye rolling.
The thing that sucks me in to buy the book is the story line in the preview, but when I read it, the characters are not very believable this lets the whole show down and I regret my purchase.
The heroines are often one dimensional, self righteous and simpering. Or have no spine and are totally boring. It seems the intent is to portray the heroine to be so sweet and innocent that she is too good for this world (a phrase that I thinks has actually been used. *eyeroll*).
The males are misogynistic and/or patronising.
The heroine and hero can’t communicate so they are always jumping to the wrong conclusions. Seriously, it’s totally dysfunctional and I spend the majority of the book wishing someone would grow a spine.
It is clear the author is trying to depict a sweet but strong heroine, but unfortunately she falls far short of the mark.
The sentiments in these books are incredibly old fashioned and misogynistic, and come across as self righteous. When describing the heroine in particular, they are quite scathing of a more modern mindset, implying that modern women have fewer morals, and the heroine is therefore almost a freak of nature. (Quite insulting to the reader actually). She doesn’t haven any girlfriends, she’s timid and frail. **another eye roll**. A one dimensional character,
I do not recommend this read.
