Story
Inspired by the spirit of Henry David Thoreau—"All good things are wild and free"—mother of five Ainsley Arment founded Wild + Free. This growing online community of mothers and families want their children to receive a quality education at home by challenging their intellectual abilities and nurturing their sense of curiosity, joy, and awe—the essence of a positive childhood. The homeschool approach of past generations is gone—including the stigma of socially awkward kids, conservative clothes, and a classroom setting replicated in the home.

Story
Sometimes we describe ourselves as trees. When we're thriving, we speak of being rooted and fruitful, in a good season. When we struggle, we might describe ourselves as withering, cut off from friendship and the world. These ways of describing ourselves matter because they shape the ways we live. But in a world dominated by efficiency, we have begun to use more unforgiving metaphors. We speak of ourselves as computers: we process things, we recharge. In doing so, we come to expect of ourselves an exhausting, relentless productivity.

Story
Motherhood is a challenge. Unfortunately, our worldly culture offers moms little in the way of real help. Mamas only connect to celebrate surviving another day and to share in their misery, rather than rejoice in what God has done and to build each other up in hard times. There has a be a better way, a biblical way, for mamas to grow and thrive. M Is for Mama offers advice, encouragement, and scripturally sound strategies seasoned with a little bit of humor to help you embrace the challenge of biblical motherhood and raise your children with love and wisdom.

Enjoyed this gift to homemakers
Really enjoyed all the ideas and intentionally given for celebrations and everyday life throughout the year. Would’ve been slightly more enjoyable if there was two different narrators for the two authors, so it was easier to keep track of who was writing.

a beautiful book that resonated with my soul
I loved this. it really was like a poem for the soul. the writing is beautiful and it's a lovely guide for those who want to develop more of a heart for home and celebrating life in a practical, tangible way. although it did make me feel a bit like I have a LONG way to go in it all, it was just a delight and I will listen to it again slowly over time to mull on it a bit more.

Beautiful
Soothing, peaceful, and a great reminder of what home can be. A breath of fresh air and glimpses into the Clarkson home with many reminders that home can be created however we choose.

So repetitive
Struggled to listen to it. Repetitive and lots of waffling about this almost perfect family. Not much real substance. I got it based on the good reviews and was so dissapointed. Save yourself some money.
