No time for housework while reading/listening to The Irish Princess.
This was one of those rare stories that I found it very hard to stop listening to. Hence very little housework was done until I finished it. It was also beautifully narrated . This was the first book by Elizabeth Chadwick that I have read/listened to and will not be my last.

Historical writing at its best!
From the opening pages, Chadwick has a way of engaging her readers. Her research shines through and her accurate details of time, place and setting enthrall the senses. Her characters are well developed and the pace moves the plotline along.
A really enjoyable read if you love history and romance combined.
