Story
Archaeologist Leah Andrews stumbles upon something inexplicable in southwestern New Mexico: Inside a dark cavern lies an undiscovered, Native American cliff dwelling abandoned for 800 years. While twisting through one of the narrow underground passageways, Leah’s flashlight illuminates the remains of a violent massacre. Ancient human remains - all slaughtered in a long-ago massacre - cover the cavern floor, along with several brilliantly colored, granite crystals. The rare gems are native to only one place on earth: A frozen mountain range in central Antarctica.

Story
For thousands of years, the truth about human history has intentionally been suppressed and exploited. For decades, scholars have been saying that the truth about human history will be found inside the Great Pyramid of Giza, but up till now no one has ever been able to find it. Those who tried have been ridiculed and persecuted. The Tenth Cycle is a provocative technothriller about human history, conspiracies, and an ancient society with power and money that will stop at nothing to reach their sinister goals.

Publisher's Summary
A thrilling adventure story set in World War II, and the first book in the Honourable Duncan Morant series.
In August 1939, Duncan Morant, the only son and heir of the second Lord Eversham, is enjoying life as a man-about-town, skippering his racing schooner Kristin. But Duncan is also a sub-lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, and as the war clouds gather, he is called up.
Due to his experience navigating the English Channel in small boats, Morant is given command of one of the new torpedoes. This is a disappointment—both because he had hoped for a place on a battleship, and because no one in the Navy seems to know what these boats are for. However, as the war takes a disastrous turn, the Channel becomes a battleground, and Duncan and his crew, in their plywood hull, find themselves in the thick of hazardous operations.
