So Open and entertaining

Being a staunch true crime fan, I only just recently and inadvertently downloaded Alec Baldwin's memoir - which I loved..... so on a roll downloaded Michael's memoir as he just makes me laugh with his natural day to day; true to real life experiences that really makes me laugh out loud no matter how many times I hear/see it.... his memoir is just the same. Totally entertaining and made me laugh, unfortunately as I was listening while painting, caused me to have to correct some detail on my canvas. What a hoot he is. He strikes me as a really loveable human being with an innate ability to make humour out of everyday living. (I just wonder what his wife thinks of him using her in his material : ) I'd love to invite this man and his sweet wife to my house for dinner.

Perfect!! Very funny & poignant

Loved this so much.I Iike Michael even more now I know his story. His narration is amazing. I laughed a lot, cried a little & even felt anxious in moments as Michael stepped on stage at his first Royal Variety performance. Can't wait for the next book!

Had me in stitches

I am so glad I listened to this audiobook. The very first chapter had me wiping tears from eyes. This is one of the first books I'd listened to that I was devastated to come to the end.
I only learned about Michael recently when I saw send to all on YouTube. But now I have his whole back catalogue to jump into.

Well worth the listen.
