Story
Fel'annár is a gifted immortal warrior embarking on his first patrol into the Deep Forest. Half-Silvan, half-Alpine, he battles the enemy from without, and the prejudice from within. But he learns more than just warfare when an arcane power begins to emerge, one he cannot control. While friendships are forged, a destiny unfolds, one that is tied to a past he knows nothing about. For others, though, it is only a matter of time before the truth is revealed, and the danger becomes real.

Story
Possibly it's not to save a pair of drowning girls, not go 'viral' on social media and certainly not to let the local police take your passport, trapping you on a small 'party' island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. But Steve isn't the average guy, he's ex-military, ex-enforcer and ex-human. He's a one man nanite fuelled nightmare for those that cross the line, and he's decided that its time to clean up his act. He's going to make up for the things he's done, and save 'the little guys'.

Story
One hundred years ago, the Eternals, 13 men and women closer to gods than mortals, stood against the greatest threat the world had ever faced. They died. All save for one who managed to flee with the enemy leader’s weapon, a cursed blade of incredible power. This is a battle he fights alone, for after they defeated the Eternals, the enemy used their magic to pose as their conquered opponents, taking over rule of the world in their stead. For the last 100 years, the people have believed that the legendary Eternals triumphed, that they are safe. Only the wanderer knows the truth .

Mankind has lorded over the land of Illian for a thousand years, building on the ruins left by the elves, as if it were their birthright. A thousand years is a long time for an immortal race to see the truth of things, a truth that has remained unsaid for a millennium - elves are superior. Publisher's Summary
A half-blood bastard to the enemy. A crownless warrior prince to the Silvans. Fel'annár must face the ultimate warrior on the field of battle or condemn his lands to civil war.
Returning from battle in the mountains, a death triggers a mystery Fel'annár and his company of chosen brothers must unravel. But why do the trees speak of a beautiful monster?
Fel'annár will learn the ways of the Kah Warrior from a legendary commander, while facing the disdain of another who struggles to accept this "ignoble son" for who he is, not for what he represents. Meanwhile, Fel'annár's half-brother reveals a plan to restore the Great Forest to its past splendor of multi-cultural harmony.
But the forest is falling apart under the final onslaught of a ruthless traitor. Can Fel'annár and The Company come to understand what role they must play in the restoration before it's too late? Can the brothers put aside their resentment toward each other and learn to trust one another? Can love prosper in the midst of battle and hardship as dark enemies converge on the motherland?
Danger lies in wait for an elf who is slowly coming to terms with his heritage, learning to wield a natural ability, and accepting the nature of his unfolding destiny. But one elf and an army will stop at nothing to avoid his return.

Great story
I have very much enjoyed this saga so far.
I like how the different perspectives of the characters are woven into the overarching plot.
The writing style itself is a little jarring at times being repetitive in places and has a bit of jumping around. It’s also hard to follow the unfamiliar names for people and places and I get mixed up a little. I don’t mind it too much though as the repetition helps me remember the names and reorient. In the end it balances out and I enjoy the content. I’ve just smashed through the first three books and now on to the fourth.
Can’t fault the narration it’s been very pleasant listening.
